2026-2027 school year!. The Volunteer Application is now online and is Standardized across ALL ROWUSD Schools. This must be completed by new and returning volunteers and Chaperones. Thank you for your interest in volunteering. Complete the steps below before serving at a school site. 
1) Open the Verkada Volunteer Link: Use the volunteer link provided by the school where you would like to serve. See below. 
2) Complete the Application: Submit the required information, complete the screening, review the Volunteer Handbook, and acknowledge ROWUSD rules and expectations.
3) Finish Any Additional Requirements: View the School Volunteer Handbook, complete the School Volunteer Handbook Acknowledgment. Complete Final Acknowledgment.
4) Wait for School Approval: After the process is complete, the principal or designee will review the request and notify you of approval, and you may begin.
IMPORTANT: Volunteer service may begin only after you receive approval and a start date from the school.

Page: 4th & 5th Grade After School Band Program. RIM Music is excited to be offering after-school band this year, generously sponsored by Arrowhead Arts Association! The program will begin September 1st. See below for your student's school band days/times. Days/Times for Band: CHE, 3-4 pm (starting 9/1/26); LAE, Wednesdays, 3-4 pm (starting 9/2/26); and VOE, Thursdays, 3-4 pm (starting 9/3). Details: 1) Permission forms will be required prior to joining the program. Let us know if you are interested so we can email one home with your student. 2) Bus transportation will not be available after class. Please be prepared to arrange transportation home.  3) School instruments are available for checkout on a first-come, first-served basis. Please email Kella Huss at kella_huss@rimsd.k12.ca.us with any further questions. We look forward to starting up the band together!  
Page: Learn to play Viola, Cello, Violin. Program is September-June. $25 plus instrument. Professional instruction for grades 3-5th. Mondays from 1:25 pm to 2:25 pm @ LAE; Tuesdays from 2:24 pm to 3:45 pm @ CHE; and Wednesdays from 2:45 pm to 3:45 pm at VOE. Registration forms are in your school front office. We invite ALL parents interested in FREE Parenting Classes, designed to support, encourage, and empower parents in our community, to a safe, supportive space to learn, grow, and connect with other parents. Building Stronger Families: Rim of the World Unified School District & 
Cal State University of San Bernardino (CSUSB) Presents: “Parenting Young Children,” A 10-week Online Zoom Course. Classes are open to parents/caregivers of students in Preschool, TK, & Grades K-12. From September 18th through November 10th, 2026
will be held virtually on Zoom Tuesday evenings, 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Page: Free Parenting Classes-The Science of Parenting Young Children-10 weekly Sessions. Tuesdays, September 8th-November 10th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Zoom. This parenting course helps parents, caregivers, and other interested individuals create a nurturing, supportive, and language-rich environment to promote healthy development and school readiness. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of child behavior and development and learn: why the early years are so critical to development, why parenting style matters, the importance of a secure parent-child attachment, and effective positive child guidance skills.  Classes include Live instruction with a trained parent educator, a parenting manual, access to class materials on Google Classroom, and a certificate of completion for graduates.
